Our History

We opened our first full-service convenience store in 1996. From that initial store in Seminole, we've grown to operate five of the finest convenience store/travel centers to be found anywhere.

Our Team

Walker Sims, our president, founded our parent company in 1981. Today, Walker Sims Oil Co./Swift Stop is a second-generation family-owned business helmed by Walker's daughter, Sarah. Together with an employee team collectively possessing over a century's worth of experience, you'll be hard pressed to find a harder working group of folks.

Our Mission

We want to be the go-to destination for convenience store customers in our communities, as well as serving as a must-stop destination for travelers in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
